Job summary

Pennridge School District is seeking a Security Guard to safeguard students, staff, and visitors. The role requires patrolling campuses, monitoring hallways and entrances, and coordinating with district officials during emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, police or security experience, and a valid PA driver’s license. CPI training and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred, with U.S. citizenship and 21+ years of age required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Police department training or security guard experience preferred.
• Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver’s License and a safe driving record.
• CPI trained and maintained.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• U.S. citizen, at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence to protect students and staff.
• Monitor hallways, parking lots, entrances and common areas.
• Assist with after‑school activities and events as needed.
• Coordinate with district admins and local law enforcement during emergencies.
• Conduct routine site tours and report suspicious activities to supervisors.
