Job summary

The City Of Nashua is seeking a Security Guard for Nashua Senior High Schools and district sites. You will patrol campuses, monitor security cameras, issue credentials, and direct traffic to keep students, staff and visitors safe.

Requirements include at least two years in security and a valid New Hampshire driver’s license. You may also support crossing guard duties and assist at other Nashua district schools as needed; shifting hours are 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM during the school year.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of security or police experience.
• Valid New Hampshire driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior of the campus and monitor cameras and alarms.
• Create and issue credentials for students, visitors and staff; direct traffic.
• Enforce parking regulations; provide security support at other Nashua schools as assigned.
• Dispatch guards, maintain access control, and respond to security incidents.
• Complete administrative work promptly and provide safety recommendations.
• Serve as a substitute crossing guard when required.
