Job summary

The Nashua School District is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to protect Nashua High School South, Nashua High School North, and district facilities. The role includes monitoring cameras, assisting with access control, directing traffic, and responding to incidents to maintain a safe campus environment.

Responsibilities extend to credentialing students, visitors, and staff, and providing security support at other NSD schools as needed. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of security or police-related experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to relate well verbally and in writing with staff, students and the public.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior of campus; monitor cameras and alarms.
• Respond to security incidents; direct traffic and enforce parking rules.
• Check in students, visitors, and vendors; issue credentials.
• Assist in identifying students who violate rules and support a safe environment.
• Provide security support at other NSD schools as assigned.
