Responsibilities

• Perform all law enforcement duties to maintain security and order in the detention facility education setting.
• Provide security screening for students entering secure areas and during daily movements.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of classrooms, hallways, and school offices to ensure safety.
• Address disruptive or inattentive students and coordinate safety drills as required.
• Monitor security cameras and report issues for prompt remediation.
• Collaborate with supervisors, education staff, and probation to coordinate student meetings.
