Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Registrar for Indiana Digital Learning School (INDLS) to support enrollments and withdrawals and to maintain student records in a compliant, efficient manner. This in-office role is based at 8707 W US Hwy 36, Modoc, IN 47358 with a typical 40+ hour work week.

The Registrar will coordinate with registrars, ensure DOE-compliant records, handle district requests, and uphold FERPA while preparing monthly audits of records and at-risk indicators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass required background check.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with web-based database programs to enter and monitor education information.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and manages school records in an organized manner.
• Coordinates with registrars for missing documents and ensures files are complete as required by the state DOE.
• Processes requests for records from outside school systems/agencies within the prescribed time.
• Regular file reviews to ensure compliance and confidentiality per FERPA.
• Contacts school districts to acquire student records information for identification of at-risk students.
• Communicates with parents tactfully and maintains confidentiality.
• Maintains up-to-date electronic and paper files for monthly audits of records and federal forms.
• Runs withdrawal reports weekly and updates systems accordingly.
