Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers virtual or in-person work in the northern Detroit area, MI, with full-time hours and competitive pay.

Provide school psychology services in the school setting, conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families. A Michigan license is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in School Psychology.
• Active Michigan School Psychology License or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school psychology services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
