Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The position provides school-based psychology services, including assessments, IEP planning, and collaboration with teachers and families.

Role supports the Detroit metro area with virtual or in-person work options, full-time schedule, and a teacher- and therapist-led company culture that emphasizes mentorship and equity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Psychology required.
• Active Michigan School Psychology License or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school psychology services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
