Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year in the Detroit area, offering virtual or in-person placement. Join a teacher- and therapist-led company committed to mentorship and meaningful impact in schools.

You will provide school psychology services, conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, and ensure timely documentation while maintaining progress monitoring and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in School Psychology required.
• Active Michigan School Psychology License or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school psychology services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
