Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year in Portsmouth Public Schools, Virginia. This in-person role offers competitive pay up to $67 per hour and requires a Virginia School Psychology license or eligibility to obtain one.

• Active Virginia School Psychology License or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school psychology services in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
