Job summary

Northcentral Learning Resource Center in Montana is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team for the 2026-2027 school year. Job description

Looking for a school psychology position where you'll be supported, appreciated, and able to focus on meaningful work? At Northcentral Learning Resource Center, you'll join a collaborative multidisciplinary team serving students across northcentral Montana. We believe in manageable caseloads whenever possible, ongoing professional development, mentorship, and giving school psychologists the autonomy and support they need to make a lasting impact in the lives of students and schools.

Northcentral Learning Resource Center (NCLRC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position (162 contracted days), although applicants seeking a part-time position are also encouraged to apply. The salary range for this position is $64,609 - $95,799 per year, depending on education and experience.

As a regional special education cooperative serving multiple school districts across northcentral Montana, NCLRC provides the opportunity to work with students from preschool through age 21 while collaborating closely with educators, families, administrators, and related service providers. Our school psychologists play an essential role in promoting student success through assessment, consultation, early intervention, problem‑solving, and evidence‑based practices.

In this position, you will conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, consult with multidisciplinary teams, assist in developing behavioral and academic interventions, participate in Child Find activities, and support schools in making data‑driven decisions that improve outcomes for students. You'll also have opportunities to mentor practicum and internship students, collaborate on system‑level initiatives, and contribute to a positive culture focused on continuous improvement and student success.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Hold (or be eligible for) Montana Class 5 or Class 6 School Psychologist certification.

  • Graduate students completing their Ed.S. or SSP internship/practicum year are encouraged to apply. NCLRC is able to provide internship supervision.
