Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Physical Therapist in La Plata, MD for a local contract. The role offers a 41-week duration, 40 hours per week, and a standard 8-hour shift, with local contract terms and competitive pay.

The PT will conduct formal and informal assessments, develop IEP/IFSP-based goals, collaborate with educators and families, and handle Medicaid billing and progress reporting to support students’ mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• DPT required and Maryland PT license mandatory.
• Experience with school-based evaluations and IEP/IFSP development.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with families and educational staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess Pre-K–12 students focusing on gross motor and mobility.
• Develop and implement therapy goals via IEP/IFSP processes.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related professionals.
• Complete documentation, evaluations, progress reports, and Medicaid billing.
