Job summary

Communities In Schools of San Antonio seeks a Community Specialist for a School-Based program in San Antonio, TX. This role builds connections with CIS-SA staff, site coordinators, campus personnel, and partners to provide resources and support tailored to each school's needs.

The Specialist manages a portfolio of school partners, conducts visits, collects data, and maintains strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Two years relevant work experience.
Ability to read, interpret and apply contractual terms and provisions.
Experience with data analysis, data evaluation and/or database management.
Front of room training or presenting experience.
Empathy toward clients and diverse backgrounds.
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Support a specified portfolio of schools with partners/resources/services that address needs and priorities identified by campus within the program objectives.
Build relationships with school personnel including CIS-SA staff and leadership/administration teams.
Develop and implement strategies for creating partnerships between schools and community partners.
Refer student-focused programs and services to Student Support Teams within schools across the portfolio.
Follow-up on referrals and gather feedback on efficacy of connected programs.
Identify liaisons to assist with needs assessments and program evaluation.
Research and identify potential community partners to meet key needs of the portfolio.
