Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional behavior and positive representation of the school district.
• Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials and activities.
• Work with students or small groups on instructional exercises.
• Assist in administration and scoring of objective tests or assignments.
• Supervise students inside and outside the classroom, including cafeteria and bus duty.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom and communicate student needs to the teacher.
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist teachers in using technology to enhance student learning.
• Uphold school rules and policies; present a positive role model.
• Provide orientation to substitute teachers.
