Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the preparation and implementation of lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to reinforce learning concepts and skills.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a learning environment.
• Supervise students during non-instructional times, such as lunch, recess, and transitions.
• Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
• Support students with special needs following individualized education plans and accommodations.
• Help organize and maintain classroom materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide clerical support, including data entry, record-keeping, and photocopying.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, other paraprofessionals, and parents to support student learning and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities in an attempt to enhance skills and knowledge.
