Job summary

Harford County Public Schools is seeking an 11-month Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year to provide services to students per IEP/IFSP/504 goals. This role includes ESY support and collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff.

Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, report writing, and participation on IEP/IFSP/504 teams. Maryland OT license eligibility is required, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for a Maryland OT license from the DHMH.
• Able to collaborate with school-based staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as itinerant therapist for students with disabilities and consults with teachers and families.
• Participates on IEP/IFSP/504 teams when OT is involved.
• Performs OT screenings, assessments, and evaluations.
• Interprets test results and writes reports.
• Develops IEPs/IFSPs/504s and provides OT services to students.
• Provides consultative services to parents and school staff.
• Completes Medicaid forms and maintains required records.
• Provides ESY therapy as needed.
