TrulyHired is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. The role focuses on protecting and promoting students' health and functional independence to support access to education.

Some assignments may involve the Infant and Toddlers Program. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, reporting results to IEP teams, collaborating with teachers, developing intervention plans, and ensuring compliance with MSDE and board policies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of education is required.
• School-based occupational therapy experience is required.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents and community.

Responsabilidades

• Select and administer assessment tools to evaluate students' functional abilities.
• Interpret and report assessment results to IEP teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with school teams to develop student education plans.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support participation in the educational program.
• Manage a caseload and supervise paraprofessional staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IEP plans and MSDE requirements.
