Job summary

KIPP DC in Washington, DC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high‑quality, data‑driven interventions within our schools. The role reports to the student support campus director and focuses on improving student participation and performance in the school environment.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing intervention plans, coordinating case conferences, and collaborating with the student support team to support IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy (required).
• Completed NBCOT-accredited OT program with fieldwork (required).
• Experience in school settings (preferred).
• Experience in urban/public schools (preferred).
• Commitment to serving underserved students (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted, evidence-based occupational therapy within the school setting.
• Develop intervention plans based on evaluations.
• Conduct occupational evaluations.
• Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Support families and educators in implementing IEP goals.
• Engage with Open Houses and parent events.
