Job summary

The Pinnacle Charter School in Federal Heights, CO seeks an Occupational Therapist to support students with IEP goals and core foundation skills. The role reports to the K-12 SPED Coordinator and involves collaborative team work, direct therapy, and outcome reporting.

This 10-month, full-time position starts immediately with competitive compensation and benefits; bilingual preferred and K-12 experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• License in the State of Colorado.
• Bi-Lingual – English / Spanish preferred.
• Previous K-12 school experience preferred.
• Familiarity with community resources and agencies.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Professional attitude and demeanor.
• Growth-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Screen, test, and diagnose students as per RtI processes.
• Develop student IEPs with present level of function, goals, and objectives.
• Manage and conduct therapy for identified students.
• Collaborate with educational support staff and RtI teams.
• Communicate with school personnel and parents.
• Adhere to State and Federal regulations.
• Plan and oversee the Occupational Language program/process.
