Job summary

Friendship Public Charter School is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. The OT will support student development and mental health through targeted interventions and collaborative therapy sessions aimed at facilitating success for students from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be eligible to acquire or must possess DC Department of Health license to practice Occupational Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in applicable field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Commitment to serving students from a minority and/or lower socioeconomic background required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students.
• Participate in special education eligibility processes.
• Deliver group and individual therapy sessions as indicated on student IEPs.
