Job summary

Prospect Schools in Brooklyn seeks an experienced Special Projects Manager to design and implement robust operational systems that keep our schools safe, efficient, and welcoming. The role owns high-stakes, cross-functional work streams, including testing cycles and assessment systems, and drives improvement across student services, technology, and logistics.

You will lead end-to-end planning for testing, oversee scheduling, training for proctors, manage progress reports, Chromebooks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years professional experience.
• At least 2-3 years of operations or adjacent administrative experience.
• Prior experience working in a school preferred.
• Exceptionally strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience managing projects from beginning to end.
• Adept at collaborating and building community with others.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and coordination for all school testing cycles and assessment systems.
• Build testing schedules, class groupings, and small-group plans; train proctors and staff.
• Oversee progress reports, testing coordination, and accountability systems for student support.
• Create and oversee the system for student technology distribution and troubleshooting.
• Serve as the primary operations lead in leadership meetings and manage school events logistics.
• Coordinate and implement cross-functional projects to advance school priorities.
