Job summary

Prospect Schools is seeking an experienced Special Projects Manager to lead cross-functional programs across student testing cycles, scheduling, and school operations in Brooklyn, NY.

You will own end-to-end testing logistics, student technology oversight, and the execution of events while coordinating with the DSO and school leadership to maintain a safe, efficient environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years professional experience.
• 2–3 years of operations or adjacent administrative experience.
• Prior experience working in a school is preferred.
• Exceptionally strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience managing projects from beginning to end.
• Adept at collaborating and building community with others.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning for school testing cycles and assessment systems.
• Coordinate testing schedules, class groupings, and small-group plans; train proctors and staff.
• Oversee progress reports, testing coordination, and accountability systems for student support.
• Create and oversee student technology distribution and troubleshooting (e.g., Chromebooks).
• Lead operations for school events and oversee day-to-day systems (Arrival, Lunch/Recess, Dismissal).
• Coordinate cross-functional projects to advance school priorities and act as emergency preparedness lead.
