Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in the Seattle, WA area under an Occupational Therapist's supervision. This contract position offers 35 hours per week and a pay rate of $42 per hour, with baseline responsibilities including treatment, data collection, and documentation in the school setting.

Candidates should hold current OTA licensure in the state, have graduated from an approved program, and preferably bring pediatric

Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• One year of experience as an OTA preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the OTA provides occupational therapy services including treatment, data collection, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements
