Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract, part-time role in Houston, TX. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the COTA will provide occupational therapy services for students in the school setting, including treatment, implementation, data collection, and documentation.

Minimum requirements include Texas OTA licensure, graduation from an accredited OTA program, and pediatric experience is preferred.

Formación

• Current OTA certification or licensure in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• One year OTA experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate current per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal/state/local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy services including treatment and implementation.
• Collect standardized assessment data and document findings.
• Deliver school-based OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, theCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy servicesincluding treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, anddocumentation to students in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational TherapyAssistant required
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational TherapyAssistant preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
