Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OT) in Beltsville, MD for a contract - full time position, 40 hours per week at $61 per hour.

The OT will perform student evaluations, develop and provide therapy services, and document services in accordance with each student’s plan of care, while meeting licensure and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice.
• One year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations as part of the OT role.
• Develop and provide therapy services to students.
• Document services in accordance with each student’s plan of care.
