Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist to serve school-aged children and young adults in the Houston area. This on-site, full-time contract role emphasizes evaluations, rotation-based direct services, ARD attendance, and collaboration with educational staff, using SHARES and Onward health software for documentation.

Expect a caseload up to 70 students (30-40 direct services) with local travel within the assigned zone.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Texas.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric OT.
• Full-time hours (37.5 hours/week); no part-time option.
• Own reliable transportation for local school travel within assigned zone.
• Caseload up to 70 students (30-40 direct services).
• Strong documentation, IEP tracking (Excel), and communication with staff and families.
• Prior district termination may disqualify.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and consults for students from early childhood to transition ages.
• Deliver direct OT services on a rotating schedule (frequency varies by need).
• Attend ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain timely, detailed documentation using required digital tools.
• Participate in credentialing processes, including fingerprinting and background checks.
