Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work on a school-based contract supporting high school students in grades 9–12. The assignment runs August 11, 2026 through May 26, 2027, with a predictable weekday schedule from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

The caseload is about 18 students with complex needs. The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families, and specialists, developing IEP-aligned interventions and measuring progress to foster independence and

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience or strong interest working in school settings, specifically at the high school level.
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and specialized interventions for students with complex support needs.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals.
• Commitment to fostering student independence and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to high school students (grades 9-12).
• Assess students' functional abilities and develop targeted intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with educational teams to adapt learning environments and materials.
• Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain detailed documentation of student progress.
• Support students' development in self-care, organization, sensory integration, and life skills needed for academic success.
