Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California.
• Experience with school-aged children and IEP processes.
• Ability to assess, document, and develop OT treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students.
• Maintain a safe and orderly treatment area.
• Conduct assessments to determine eligibility for OT services.
• Coordinate OT services with students' health care providers.
• Collaborate with the school nurse on medical care protocols.
• Develop educationally relevant therapy goals for IEPs.
• Establish professional documentation systems and records.
• Communicate evaluation results to staff, parents, and agencies.
• Re-evaluate OT plans and maintain progress notes for IEPs.
• Provide in-service training and monitor program goals with staff.
