Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Occupational Therapist for a K-12 setting in Auburn, WA. The OT will conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success.

Ideal candidates have WA OT licensure (or eligibility), ESA certification, and a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience in schools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Washington State OT license.
• ESA Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams.
