Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services worker for Plymouth Middle School. The role involves food preparation, serving meals to students, operating kitchen equipment, handling cash registers, and assisting with student accounts.

The position is school-year, with hours from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, 5.5 paid hours per day, and a 39-minute unpaid break. Requires ServSafe certification within 6 months and a high school diploma or GEDpreferred.

Formación

• ServSafe certification within the first 6 months of employment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in school nutrition or food service is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food according to the planned menu; operate equipment and ovens as needed.
• Maintain daily records of food production; maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Complete daily set-up of school food; provide materials and supplies as needed for the menu items.
• Serve as cashier for student and staff lunches; assist students with technology support for cashier functions; communicate with students regarding balance of funds.
• Serve food to students according to menu and guidelines; remind students of meal options; assist students with special needs.
• Clean all kitchen equipment according to sanitation standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
