Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Safe Serve certification required.
• Experience in a school kitchen with large meal service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quantities.
• Supervise cooks and kitchen staff; coordinate with Kitchen Manager.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with health codes.
• Maintain department records and inventory of cooking supplies.
• Assist with cash reconciliation and collecting meal eligibility data.
