Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an IT support specialist to service the POS system in school cafeterias and resolve workstation, network, server, and printer issues. You will support nutrition software applications, manage work orders, and assist with installations and testing across the district.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the technology department, training users, and maintaining inventory of equipment while ensuring security and timely problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Must have strong troubleshooting of software/hardware issues and provide timely solutions.
• Experience disassembling and reassembling laptops/desktops; some mobile devices.
• Ability to install, maintain, and support computers and software.
• Experience with inventory classification and parts management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for nutrition software applications.
• Manage, monitor, and close technology work order tickets.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software in the school nutrition office and cafeterias.
• Install, test, and QA nutrition software.
• Coordinate network policies and standards with the technology department.
• Maintain inventory of registers, monitors, laptops, printers, and parts.
