Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Willing to complete Units I through IV of the School Food Service Training Program within three years (ServeSafe certification highly recommended).
• Neat appearance and adherence to dress code.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of food including entrees, baked goods, desserts, salads, sandwiches, or other items under direction of manager or cook.
• Deliver and distribute breakfast meals to arriving students.
• Supply and restock the serving line with food and supplies.
• Practice positive customer service with meals to students and adults.
• Keep line moving smoothly and swiftly.
• Keep serving areas and counters clean at all times.
• Prepare dishwasher for operation and clean dishroom.
