HealthPro Pediatrics, a division of HealthPRO Heritage, is seeking a School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) in New Orleans, LA. This full-time, W-2 position offers hourly pay of $38-$43 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will collaborate with school staff and families, participate in IEP goals, provide nursing services, and maintain district documentation. A valid state RN license and experience with diverse families are required; opportunities for mentorship and career growth are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license to practice in the state of residence/state of placement.
• Have successful experience working with culturally diverse families.
• Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsabilités

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
• Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
• Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
• Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
