Job summary

HealthPro Pediatrics in Covington, GA is seeking a dedicated 1:1 School Nurse (RN or LPN) to support student health services in the school setting. This W-2, full-time role offers a consistent schedule, 37.5 hours per week, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will collaborate with school staff and families, maintain nursing records, participate in the IEP process for eligible students, and deliver nursing services per IEP guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be a Georgia-licensed RN or LPN.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in hospital, clinic, or public health.
• School nursing experience preferred.
• Seizure and respiratory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with school staff and families regarding students’ health.
• Participate in IEP development for nursing services and goals.
• Provide nursing services per prescribed IEP components and standards.

HealthPro Pediatrics is looking for a 1:1 School Nurse to join our school team in Covington, GA! Are you a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a consistent schedule working with pediatrics?

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
• Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
• Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
• Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Georgia
• At least1 year of nursing experience(hospital, clinic, or public health)
• School experience preferred
• Seizure and respiratory experience required
