Job summary

HealthPro Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is hiring a School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) in New Orleans, LA for a full-time W-2 role with hourly pay of $38-$43.

You will join a collaborative pediatric team, with a consistent caseload and mentorship opportunities, and enjoy year‑round benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and free CEUs.

This role supports students through IEP-driven nursing services in a supportive, mission‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license to practice in the state of residence/state of placement.
• Experience working with culturally diverse families.
• Continuing education and professional development are required.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with school staff and families on students’ health and wellness.
• Participate in IEP process to develop present levels of performance and goals for students needing nursing services.
• Provide nursing services per prescribed IEP supports and current best practices.
• Maintain required documentation per district and ASHA's code of ethics, including daily notes and summaries.
