Job summary

Schoolforce Solutions Inc. is seeking a qualified School Nurse (RN) to join our team for the upcoming school year. The role is in-person for a middle school environment, covering grades 6–8 with an approximate caseload of 200 students.

You will provide health assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with families and staff. The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, is certified in CPR/First Aid, and has a School Nurse Endorsement.

Qualifications

• Must have Illinois RN license.
• PEL with School Nurse Endorsement required for public schools.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program (ADN/BSN).
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide health assessments, first aid, and emergency care for students and staff.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician and school guidelines.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies.
• Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis) and report findings.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators on student health needs.
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with ISBE, IDPH, and HIPAA regulations.
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Ensure compliance with state immunization requirements and health policies.

Job description

We are looking for a talented School Nurse (RN) to join our team for the school year.

• In-Person
• Grade Level: 6 - 8
• Estimated Caseload: Middle School, approx. 200 students

Hourly Rate Range: $40.00 - $49.00 per hour

Required Qualifications
