Schoolforce Solutions Inc is seeking a School Nurse (RN) for the upcoming school year. The position offers an hourly rate of $41.00 to $50.00 per hour and requires an active Illinois RN license and a School Nurse endorsement (PEL).

You will provide health assessments, administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and ensure compliance with ISBE, IDPH and HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities include health screenings, records management, and collaboration with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN degree from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois RN licensure (IDFPR).
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse Endorsement required for public schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide health assessments, first aid and emergency care for students and staff.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician/school guidelines.
• Monitor chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies.
• Conduct health screenings (vision/hearing/scoliosis) and report findings.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers and administrators on health needs.
• Maintain accurate health records per ISBE/IDPH/HIPAA.
