Job summary

Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing and current RN license to practice professional nursing in Maine.
3–5 years' experience as a professional licensed nurse preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
Strong interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification current.
Valid driver's license and passport.
Background check CHRC clearance from Maine Dept. of Education.

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour nursing coverage within a rotating schedule.
Care during Health Center hours and on-call evenings/weekends.
Stay within 20 minutes of the school and be available on health-center on-call phone.
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and plan student health care with providers.
Collaborate with medical providers to develop school health plans.
Communicate health information to faculty and staff.
