Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing.
• One year of school nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate as required.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of the nursing process and deliver individualized student care within the school environment.
• Ensure services are provided in alignment with physician orders and school district policies.
