Job summary

St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, Virginia seeks a committed Nurse to support student health, manage medications, and collaborate across Lower, Middle, and Upper School. The role involves teaching health and participating in Student Support activities to ensure a safe, inclusive campus.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in Virginia.
• Undergraduate nursing degree required.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to become MAT trainer.
• Pediatrics experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat student injuries and mild illnesses.
• Collaborate with Lower School administration to monitor attendance and follow up with parents.
• Work with Middle and Upper School Nurses to track illness trends.
• Ensure medications are available for in-school and field trips.
• Record clinic visit notes and manage medications given to students.
• Attend Student Support Team meetings and manage return-to-school protocols.
• Inventories and maintains clinic supplies.
• Teach one Upper School Health class and contribute to health education.
• Implement access, equity and belonging initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
