Responsibilities

• Provide health care services to students and staff.
• Plan the school health program in cooperation with medical authority.
• Assess injuries and illnesses; administer first aid and treat minor injuries.
• Document all data pertinent to student health and maintain records.

Skills

Knowledge of nursing processes and practices

Ability to perform effectively in emergencies

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public

Education
