Job summary

Saint Theresa Catholic School is seeking a School Nurse to support student health and safety. You will provide care for ill or injured students, administer medications with proper documentation, and maintain confidential health records in accordance with policies.

You will coordinate health screenings, emergency procedures, and communications with parents and staff, while upholding Catholic identity and school mission.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LVN in Texas is required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
• Experience in pediatric health, school health, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of Texas immunization and health documentation requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health services for students who are ill or injured during the school day.
• Administer medications according to physician orders and school policy, with proper documentation.
• Maintain confidential student health records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with staff and families on health plans, safety drills, and emergency procedures.
• Support health screenings (vision, hearing, spinal) as required by law.
