Job summary

St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, Virginia seeks a committed and compassionate Nurse. The position is salaried, exempt, full-time on a 10-month schedule, with hours Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm.

The nurse will assess injuries and illnesses, manage medications, support student health across Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, and implement access, equity, and belonging initiatives. CPR certification and Virginia RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license in Virginia is required.
• RN certification is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat student injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with Lower School admin to monitor daily attendance and communicate with parents.
• Work with Middle and Upper School Nurse to track illness trends.
• Ensure medications are available for students during the day and on field trips.
• Record clinic visit notes and manage medication administration.
• Attend Student Support Team meetings and manage return-to-school protocols.
