Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Nurse – Licensed by the Division of Consumer Affairs in the State of New Jersey.
• NJ Department of Education Standard Instructional School Nurse Certificate or enrolled in an Instructional School Nurse Certificate Program.
• Must meet (at minimum) NJ State/DOE requirements for School Nurse Emergency Certification.
• CPR/AED Certification for Health Care Provider and Professional Rescuer.
• Experience with students with special needs preferred.
• Familiarity with students with significant physical and intellectual disabilities.
• Familiarity with students with complex medical conditions.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to use Google Classroom, word processing, data management, information retrieval, and presentations.
• Must communicate effectively in English with staff, students, parents, and community.
