Job summary

Conservatory Lab Charter School is seeking a registered nurse to join our team in Boston for school health services. You will screen students, manage care plans, and collaborate with teachers and staff to support student health and safety.

The role includes administering medications, educating students and staff on health procedures, and adapting to evolving health needs within a dynamic school environment. Experience in school health is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required; knowledge of school health services.
• Knowledge of mental health and child health in school settings.
• Familiarity with school laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing, vision and other health screenings
• Administer medications as needed
• Develop care plans for students with ongoing conditions
• Consult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student care
• Educate students and staff on health procedures
• COVID-19 systems as needed
• Additional duties as assigned by the Principal, COO or their designee
