Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining health records, acting as on-call during the school day, and advising staff on health matters to support students’ educational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed to practice in the United States.
• Experience in school health services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides school health services including nurse assessments, immunizations, hearing and vision tests.
• Refers students to medical and dental care as needed.
• Communicates with parents, staff, physicians and clinics on health matters.
• Maintains up-to-date student health records.
• Keeps the nurse's station organized and stocked.
