WARNER ROBINS MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Leader – Maintenance Teams to supervise a rotating crew responsible for school facilities upkeep. The role coordinates maintenance needs with building principals, inspects facilities, dismantles and repairs equipment, and supervises team members while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: A one year certificate from an accredited technical school; or six months related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and prioritizes maintenance needs with building principals.
Visually inspects facilities and equipment.
Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts, including plumbing and electrical.
Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
Directly supervises team members.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws.
Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Performs all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Teams Supervisor.
