Job summary

Walmart in Warner Robins, GA is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration to lead installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC/R systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This role oversees preventive maintenance, refrigerant handling, and vendor coordination, mentors field teams, participates in on‑call shifts, and drives continuous improvement through new technologies and processes.

Qualifications

• 3 years HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience.
• 6 years HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration with AAS credential.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Manage refrigerant handling and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate and mentor field teams, providing hands-on training.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical needs.
• Maintain company vehicles and safety/compliance standards.
