Qualifications

• Applicants must possess the ability to read, write, and understand oral and written English, follow oral and written instructions, and perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with food service staff to meet meal service times.
• Reviews production records and secures ingredients and equipment.
• Cleans and prepares fruits/vegetables; assembles simple items for meals.
• Portions and packs menu items for satellite feeding.
• Sets up serving counters and replenishes items for meal service.
• Washes pots, pans, utensils and towels.
• Maintains clean work areas and sanitizes equipment and floors.
• Labels, stores, and disposes leftovers.
• Receives provisions, documents temperatures, reports discrepancies; inventories as directed.
• Oversees student helpers in the school kitchen.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings as per USDA requirements.
