Responsibilities

• Review production records and secure ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare simple foods and assemble salads, sandwiches, and baked goods; assist with dietary needs as required.
• Portion and pack meals for satellite feeding.
• Set up serving areas, serve students and staff, and replenish items as needed.
• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment; clean and sanitize work areas and dining spaces.
• Label, store, and dispose of leftovers appropriately.
• Receive provisions, document temperature, report discrepancies, and assist with inventory.
• Supervise student helpers in the kitchen during shifts.
• Attend meetings and training to meet USDA-required hours.
